The Poverty Bay A&P Show Association committee met last night and has decided to make a final decision early next week on whether the Spring Show will go ahead.
Under Alert Level 2 the Show could not proceed because of the gathering and social distancing requirements.
“The committee decided to
make a final decision after the Government's planned alert level announcements due on Monday,” Show Association general manager Erica McNeil said.
“If we go to Level 1 with no restrictions, the Spring Show will go on.
“We are only three weeks out from the October 14-16 event and time is running out in terms of our preparations, and advising the community,” she said.
