The 2024-25 cruise ship season in Gisborne looks set to be a busy one again with 24 ships scheduled at this stage to call here, about the same as the successful season that ended in March.

The National Geographic Orion (pictured) was a regular over the past summer, and she will start the next season on October 27, and call again three more times next summer.

The Silver Muse, Le Soleal, Regatta (x3), Seabourne Quest and Westerdam come back, joined by first-timers like Silver Nova, Viking Orion, Artania, Coral Geographic, Azamara Pursuit and Le Jacques Cartier. The season ends with the Artania on March 10, 2025.
