The community art sale held on Saturday, August 19 at the St Andrew's Church hall was a big success and raised $5370 for local charities.

A total of 290 art pieces were donated, between paintings, prints, ceramics, weaving and sculpture, and most were sold.

Organisers would like to express their gratitude to all the donors, buyers and the community members who helped out on the day.

The funds raised have been divided equally between the Mayoral Relief Fund, SuperGrans and Gizzy Kai Rescue, with $1790 deposited to each organisation.

Again, a big thank you to all who participated.
