Dizfunk is among the DJs lined up for a sounds of summer mini-festival at Smash Palace on Saturday.
On the Summer Sound Check’s main stage, the Brazilbeat Soundsystem with live drums, will be joined by Johnny Hitman and, for the first time playing in Gisborne, South African DJ Paws.
In
the lounge, disco-house master Djose and groove-reggae purveyor Bubzilla segue into Dizfunk, who always brings the latest in hip-hop and dance music.
Games and prizes, including a Rhythm and Vines pass are also up for grabs.
Summer Sound Check kicks off at 6pm, Tickets $5 at the door. Prize for the best summer festival look.
