When organisers of the International Virtual Engravist Printmaking Bienal arranged an online printmaking exhibition, hundreds of artists from around the world submitted works.

Among them was Gisborne printmaker Hannah King whose print, A missed step (pictured), now hangs in one of the exhibition's seven virtual galleries. To view the work go to www.engravist.art and click on the burgundy hall link.

Founded in 2016, Engravist's projects included in 2018, a printmaking biennial with more than 200 artists and more than 250 works from 16 countries.

Last year, a virtual reality printmaking exhibition of a wide selection from the Engravist collection was held during the Amsterdam VR Days.

King's drypoint etching, Camellia, Kowhai, features in another international exhibition, Athens Printmaking Center Pandolfini and Siaterli's Herbarium.
