Crafting your own Christmas ornaments adds a charming and rustic touch to your holiday decor. Consider a simple yet delightful last-minute project like creating a ribbon Christmas tree ornament for a festive touch.

YOU’LL NEED:

Ribbon

Beads

Needle/thread

Card to make a star

STEP 1:

Mark dots along the ribbon to

show where to poke the needle

through each layer.

The first dot should be 2cm from

the end, then 7cm, 6.5cm, 6cm,

5.5cm . . . stop at 2.5cm.

STEP 2:

Using the needle and thread,

anchor your first bead on the

bottom of the ribbon tying it

in place.

STEP 3:

Layer the ribbon back and forth

on top of itself and poke the

needle through each dot until

you reach the end. Don’t forget

to thread a bead onto the

thread between each layer of

ribbon.

STEP 4:

Make a star to sit at the top of

your tree. We used card and

added glitter.
