ON Wednesday, the War Memorial Theatre Trust will launch a fundraising campaign with nibbles, presentations and music at the War Memorial Theatre and you are welcome to attend.
A concert arranged by musical director Gavin Maclean will open with capella group, Savvy.
The ever-energetic Mat Hatten will sing and tap-dance
to Singing in the Rain. Coralie Hunter, Trish Tattle, Catherine Macdonald, and visiting English organist Ian Miles will perform pieces for four hands on two pianos; double act Sidekicks made up of Tahi Paenga on piano and vocals and Andrew Derby on clarinet and saxophone will perform while the Choral Society and Coralie Hunter will accompany opera solos Casta diva from Norma with Catherine Macdonald, and Drinking Song from La Traviata with Madeleine Jones and Gavin Maclean.
