After considerable anticipation online, Gisborne artists Yung Maac and RVNNAH have released the first of their collaborative tracks, titled 4 10 Shawty.

Marking the first commercial single featuring both artists, the song was produced by multi-platinum award winner StardustSzn, with a string lead instrumental featuring distinct vocal samples and heavy 808s.

Having recently returned to releasing music after a year-and-a-half hiatus to finetune his sound, Yung Maac makes another push in his evergrowing presence in the music industry.

Bringing together this song is RVNNAH, who makes his commercial debut.

“This is a song that represents some of our experiences coming out of Gisborne,” Yung Maac said.

“It is a story about what my friends and I were doing and going through at the time we made the song.

“I had never met RVNNAH before the night we made this. He recorded his whole verse in about 15 minutes in front of everyone who was at the studio.

“I've never seen anything like that, it was honestly crazy and he matched the beat perfectly,” Yung Maac said.

With 4 10 Shawty being the first collaborative single between the two artists, listeners quickly latched on and have streamed the song thousands of times on Spotify, and are eagerly awaiting their next single, titled Sideline, which is set to be released next week.
