The log boat African Dove — an eight-year-old bulk carrier sailing under the flag of Bahamas — docked on Monday to become the third logger to load at Eastland Port this month.

The Yangtze Legend sailed on Sunday night, preceded by the Atlantic Spirit. The African Dove is expected to sail out of port later today.

The port’s shipping schedule shows the Remy Enterprise due next, followed by the Happy Hiro and the Apex Voyager in the next week.

Six more log ships are due after that through the month, along with two freighters to ship kiwifruit.
