Te Puke Boys & Girls Agricultural Club had a very successful group day last week.

“The standard of animals was extremely high and judges were amazed,” says Te Puke Boys & Girls Agricultural Club secretary Marie Peterson.

“Many children experienced for the first time the special occasion at such an event, while on the other hand had several children who next year will be their last time to hopefully attend.”

The club was supported by parents who made donations to assist with running of the day.

“As a club we are very appreciative of the support that we receive from businesses within the community.

“The goodie bags that are handed out at the end of the day were excitedly opened by the competitors, to some this was the highlight of the day.”

President Sarah Murray says she would like to thank all those who took time out of their work commitments to assist and support the club.
