Wet weather has played havoc with the WBOPCA Secondary Schools cricket competition, since schools returned in February 2017.

In the Division One competition, where ten teams are chasing the term one championship title, Bethlehem College, TBC Blue, and Cadets lead the standings with 12 points apiece.

Saturday sees Bethlehem College, who sit at the top of the standings courtesy of the best point's differential, host TBC Blue at their College headquarters. Western Bay of Plenty Club team Cadets will visit Mount Maunganui College to square off with Mount Maunganui Gold.

In other division one action, TBC Colts host Taupo Combined Schools at Waipuna Park One, with TBC Yellow playing John Paul College on the adjacent Waipuna Park wicket.

Aquinas College, rounds out the round four encounters against TBC White at Aquinas College.

Mount Maunganui Green who also sit astride the points table meet Bethlehem College, with Rotorua School Western Heights High School hosting Cadets at Boord Park.

Waihi College also travel to play TBC Wanders in division three at Fergusson Park, while TBC Hagley square off with TBC Lords.
