It's becoming a log jam at the top as teams fight for a finals spot in the Waicoa Bay Premier competition.
With only three rounds to play, Ngaruawahia and Hamilton City Tigers have pretty much guaranteed themselves a spot and Taniwharu are not too far away from doing the same.

four teams - Otumoetai, Pikiao, Turangawaewae and Tauranga Whalers - are left battling for the final berth.
Bay of Plenty and Coastline league fans will be hoping one of their teams can stop the finals from becoming an all-Waikato affair.
Turangawaewae and Pikiao are guaranteed points thanks to byes tomorrow. But it is Otumoetai and the Whalers who will have to take nothing for granted when they meet Ngongotaha and Pacific respectively.
Ngongotaha host Otumoetai at Puketawhero Park today. The Rotorua side are always a danger to any team, providing coach Damian White can keep his players' discipline in check.
On paper Otumoetai should be too strong - however, if last week's match is anything to go by, a 24-18 loss to Pacific - nothing is a sure thing in this competition.
The Whalers have home ground advantage against Pacific at Waipuna Park, but its been three weeks since the boys have laced up their boots and going up against a confident Pacific team they could be in for a tough match.
It's a top-of-the-table clash tomorrow, when Ngaruawahia host Hamilton City Tigers at League Park. The home side have gone from strength to strength, having not lost a match since round 8. The same could be said about the Tigers who last lost in round 10.
A loss for the Tigers could potentially see the side drop to third, given that Taniwharau, who sit one point behind Hamilton, are playing the lowly College Old Boys.
Pride is on the line when Taupo Phoenix host Central at Hickling Reserve. Phoenix suffered a humiliating 40 to zip loss to the Tigers. The home side will be looking to make up for the loss but Central are a proud side and don't back down for anyone.
At the bottom of the table it's a likely a battle for the wooden spoon with Hamilton Hornets hosting Hukanui. The Hornets best result has been a 36-all draw against College Old Boys last week, while Hukanui managed to beat Old Boys in round 5.
