It has been an action packed season for the Coastline District rugby league which has now come to an end for 2014.

The Papamoa Bulldogs Under-7 team was coached by Pete Double, who has been with the club for three years and also plays in the premiers. He took his team to the top of the table after being undefeated champions for the season. The team had a number of first year league players and it has been great to see them grow in confidence and having a lot of fun along the way.

Kailee Bliss, who is the manager behind the team, had to be given recognition for all her organisation in the background, which enabled the team to be a smooth running operation.

Double and Bliss felt all their players deserved trophies this season for their efforts so all the boys were presented with trophies for being undefeated at the club prize giving held last weekend at Gordon Spratt Reserve clubrooms in Papamoa. This will give the boys a boost for next year when many of them move up to the under-9 grade.

Please contact the Bulldogs management through their Facebook page, Papamoa Bulldogs Rugby League Club, or mobile 021 026 37791.
