Te Puke Sports finished second qualifier but led Opotiki by just three points at halftime, 10-7.

Te Puke's points came from a penalty try, with further tries to Andrew Tuise, John Corbett and Craig Donovan, with Nick McCashin adding nine points with his boot.
Mount Maunganui re-inked their top four credentials when they got past fellow Western Bay rivals Rangataua 27-8. The home side had narrow five-point advantage at the break before running in two further tries in the second spell.
Whakarewarewa ace goal kicker Kelly Haimoana was in outstanding form, posting 21 points from a try, five conversions and two penalty goals as his side defeated Waikite 41-12.

Whaka lock Harold Koia said they didn't care who they played. "To be honest I'm happy to be in a semifinal because it's been a while since Whaka has been in a semi. It doesn't matter who we play. I think the boys are happy to be in there and will get up on the day."
The division one match-up at Moore Park in Katikati between the home side and Te Teko saw both teams book semifinal berths.
While Te Teko defeated Katikati 12-8 to finish as top qualifier, Marist St Michaels' 28-11 defeat of Ngongotaha meant Katikati were handed the final semifinal spot.
Greerton Marist will host the second semi after running away from Paroa 65-7, with Kahukura winning a battle of attrition against 19-11 Ruatoki, who are headed for local rugby next season after finishing with the wooden spoon.
The colts final will be fought between defending champions Te Puke Sports and Greerton Marist. Te Puke had to dig deep to get past Te Puna 27-20, with Greerton Marist also given a real contest by Tauranga Sports before getting home 22-14.
