Young girl stable following serious Bureta crash

An 8-year-old girl who received serious injuries in a crash in Bureta is now in a stable condition.

A police spokeswoman said the three-car crash happened near the intersection of Ngatai Rd and Chapel St just after 8pm on Tuesday.

A St John spokeswoman said one person was in a serious condition and another was in a moderate condition.

Both were taken to Tauranga Hospital, she said.

The road was cleared just after 10pm.
