A worker was minorly injured after falling through a roof in Tauranga this morning.
The incident reportedly happened at a building on Spring St in the CBD, down the road from The Vault building at 53 Spring St.
The Bay of Plenty Times understands the incident occured in the Home Grown Kids office.
The Times approached the company but the business did not want to comment.
A reporter at the scene said she saw an ambulance and people in hi-vis clothing.
A Worksafe spokeswoman said Worksafe was notified of an incident in Tauranga today in which a worker fell through a roof.
The spokeswoman said the second most common type of injury in the construction industry were falls from heights.
She said she could not provide any further details at this stage and Worksafe were making initial inquiries to determine its next steps.
A St John spokeswoman said ambulance received a call at 11.15.
She said the person had minor injuries and was not likely going to be transported to hospital.
