Power is out in the Tauranga suburb of Otumoetai this afternoon.
Affected areas in Otumoetai are: Andrew Pl, Baden Crt, Balmoral Tce, Bureta Rd, Capel St, Cnr Vale St and Bureta Rd, Cross Rd, Grange Rd, Hinewa Rd, Landscape Rd, Pine Ave, Rushton Ave, Shelley St and Vale St.
Theoutage was reported at 1.06pm and power is expected to be restored by 3pm this afternoon, according to PowerCo.
It is unknown what the cause of the outage is, however PowerCo are currently investigating.
