Baypark Family Speedway Season Opening Night
Where: Baypark ASB Stadium, Truman Lane,
Mount Maunganui
When: Gates open 5pm, racing starts 6.30pm
Adult $19, Child $10 (5-16 years old - proof of age may be required). Senior Pass $10 (65+ with Gold Card ID). Family Pass (2 Adults 3 Children) $50.

Mount Crossfit New Zealand Team Nationals
Where: ASB Arena, Baypark, Truman Lane, Mount Maunganui
When: 8.30am-5.30pm, Saturday and Sunday
There are several scored events, five today and three tomorrow, with teams battling to be named the fittest in New Zealand.

Wheels on Mainstreet
Where: Downtown Mount Maunganui
When: Saturday
More than 200 classic and hot rod vehicles, trucks and motorcycles with live music and the atmosphere that only the Mount can deliver provide you with a day of free fun and entertainment.

Where: The Strand (closed to traffic).

In love with Bali since 1974, Jarratt last year published a history of the Indonesian island.
