THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5

Twilight Summer Carnival Raceday
With eight races from about 3pm, bring the whole family to enjoy a day with the horses at Tauranga Racecourse. Gates open at 1.30pm, first race approximately 3.13pm. Last race approximately 7.15pm. Free entry.

Dinner in the Domain
Artisan food market, with live cooking demonstrations.
Papamoa Domain, 561 Papamoa Beach Road, 5.30pm till 9pm.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6

Tauranga Moana Waitangi Day Dawn Service
A special dawn service at Hopukiore (Mount Drury) marking the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Starts at 6:30am.
All welcome. The day starts with a karakia (blessing) by Tangata Whenua followed by a community service.

He Iwi Kotahi - Waitangi Day Whanau Festival
A family-friendly way to celebrate our national day at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui. Featuring a full day's entertainment - with live, local bands and musicians and all sorts of other live entertainment.
Featuring market stalls, food trucks, free bouncy castles, free face-painting and competitions.
People are invited to bring non-perishable food items for Tauranga's Women's Refuge. General admission tickets begin at just $5 for children, $10 for adults and a $20 Whanau Pass (2 x adults, 2 x children)
This year, all funds will go to the Papamoa Surf Lifesaving Club and the Remove the Rena Charitable Trust.

Waitangi Day Family Day
Featuring a life-sized foosball table, hangi, a free sausage sizzle, bouncy castles and water games. Free entry, 10.30am till 3pm at Greerton Village School.

Gourmet Night Market
A night market with a twist, packed with quality, local gourmet dinner and dessert stalls and a healthy serving of sustainability. Featuring live music, from 5-9pm at Coronation Park, Mount Maunganui.

Papamoa Beach Front Festival
The Papamoa Beach TOP 10 Holiday Resort and The Little Big Markets presents the inaugural Beach Front Festival.
