A 29-year-old motorcyclist came off his motorbike and was run over by a vehicle at 9.15am today on SH25, north of Whangamata.
The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched and flew the motorcyclist to Waikato hospital for further treatment.
The motorcyclist sustained a serious leg and shoulder injury, and was
stabilised at the scene of the accident.
