Have a beautiful garden well worth showing off?
If so, The New Zealand Garden and Art Festival team is keen to hear from you.
Festival director John Beech says his team has already found many a hidden gem, but appreciates there will be other stunning gardens out there, yet tobe discovered, within the Western Bay.
"We want to keep the serious garden trail warrior interested, so are keen to hear from any gardeners who think their garden - or a friend's - may be of festival standard," he said.
The festival traditionally includes about 45 gardens, which will again be the target number, with those creative spaces located between the outer boundaries of Katikati and TePuke.
"We are looking for a wide variety of gardens from small urban spaces to rolling lifestyle properties.
"We want to showcase the beautiful Bay of Plenty and its fertile soils, from the coastal properties to the hills and valleys and to beautified back yards and patios.
The Tauranga-based festival will next be held in November 2016.
It will include some old favourites, plus an estimated 25 per cent of gardens new to the trail.
Those who would like to see their garden included are invited to contact John on john@nzgardenandartfest.co.nz or phone 570 2525. A festival team member will then visit to assess.
