Tauranga residents are being warned of low water pressure this afternoon.

Due to an issue with a bulk water main in Greerton, people are experiencing low water pressure from Greerton through to the CBD, and also in Mount Maunganui's industrial area.

Tauranga City Council says contractors are on-site.

The council warns people to expect low water pressure until the issue is fixed, especially during peak use times.
