UPDATED 12.37pm: Two men have been arrested following a home invasion that resulted in a victim needing to have an eye surgically removed.
The 27 and 43-year-old were arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and injuring with intent to injure.

a home Bay of Plenty home invasion had to have an eye surgically removed, as police this morning continue their investigations into the attack.
Armed police raided the Birch Ave Filthy Few Motorcycle Club headquarters about 8am today, and spoke to more than a dozen members.
A reporter at the scene said members of the Armed Offenders Squad were joined by detectives, police dogs and several police units.
Groups of Filthy Few members were separated and spoken to by police.
Traffic was congested but the road remained open.
The raid this morning was part of investigations into a Whakamarama home invasion on Sunday night.
Four masked people entered the property and seriously assaulted the two occupants inside.
Both occupants were admitted to Tauranga Hospital with serious facial injuries. One required an eye to be surgically removed.
Western Bay of Plenty Police area commander Inspector Clifford Paxton said police executed a search warrant on the address in Birch Ave, Tauranga where "a large number of people were present".
Two people were currently being spoken to by police in relation to the serious assault, Mr Paxton said.
