Two seriously injured after two-vehicle crash on Tauranga’s SH29A

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash just after 6pm on Monday.

Two people were seriously injured after a crash in Tauranga.

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash on State Highway 29A near the Pyes Pa Rd intersection at 6.10pm on Monday.

Hato Hone St John said: “Three patients were assessed by the crews at the scene, with two of those taken to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition”.

Police said the road was closed, but reopened just after 8pm.
