Two people have suffered serious injuries when the car they were in crashed down a bank on State Highway 2 near Aongatete.
A police spokeswoman said the crash happened near the intersection of SH2 and Walker Rd East and was reported about 2.10pm.
One of the two people in the
car had managed to get out but the other was trapped, she said.
