Police were called to two separate crashes on State Highway 29A in Maungatapu this morning.
A police media spokeswoman said a nose-to-tail crash happened between the Maungatapu Rd on ramp and Truman Lane at 7.36am.
The spokeswoman said one lane was initially blocked and northbound traffic was being diverted through
Maungatapu Rd.
However, one car looked to be "quite damaged" and needed to be towed from the scene.
Police were called to a separate incident in the same area on the Maungatapu Bridge at 8.05am after a car and a van collided.
