Two cars crash outside Tauranga Primary School

One person suffered a seatbelt injury in a two-car crash outside Tauranga Primary School this afternoon, police say.

A police spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Cameron Rd just before 3pm.

An ambulance had also been called.

The spokeswoman said a lane was initially blocked but a reporter at the scene said it was clear. An ambulance was still there but police were leaving, the reporter said.
