A truck and trailer unit and a small car have collided on Totara St, Mt Maunganui this morning.
Police were called to the crash, between Matai and Kawaka Sts, at 7.30am.
A police spokeswoman said the car had extensive damage and the truck and trailer unit had minor damage.
