There were traffic delays through Greerton this morning after a small truck fire on State Highway 29A.
A police media spokeswoman said police were called to assist with traffic control at 6.40am after the truck's brakes caught fire between Poike Rd and Oropi Rd.
"The fire was out when wegot there," she said.
A Northern Fire Communications spokesman said there was a small fire in the brakes of a truck.
