Tractor rolls at Paengaroa

Emergency services have been called to Paengaroa after reports that a tractor has rolled.

Firefighters have arrived at Old Coach Rd to find the tractor, and a diesel spill on the road.

A northern fire communications spokesman said no one was trapped in the tractor.

The spill was about 20 litres large and the Bay of Plenty Regional Council had been notified, he said.

Emergency services were called to the same area on Tuesday when 75-year-old Ian McKenzie was killed when he was struck by a car.
