A toilet which was set on fire in a Mount Maunganui public cubicle overnight is being treated as suspicious.
The toilet was set alight in the public facility on Pacific Ave and Marine Parade.
Firefighters were called to the incident at 12.30am.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said
the fire was being treated as suspicious.
Hours later in Oropi, a truck was destroyed by fire.
