This weekend TECT All Terrain Park's annual open day promises to be an action-packed day.
The adventure park was opening its gates on Sunday from 10am to 4pm for visitors to test out its activities, features and clubs.
Park manager Bill Wheeler said the open day was about encouraging peopleto try new activities, explore the park and get a little adrenalin rush.
"The park's been open for almost seven years now - and in that time we've added a huge number of activities and clubs, all offering exciting and interesting opportunities to try out. Some of our clubs are looking for new members while others love to share their passion with others," he said.
Activities included a guided walk of the Te Rerenga Tunnel Walk, paintball, clay target shooting, off road racing, and deerstalkers.
Some of the 'have a go' events would have a charge to cover club costs.
Mr Wheeler encouraged people to bring a picnic lunch as food was not available in the park. There would be a fundraising sausage sizzle with hot drinks taking cash only.
The event was free and there would be shuttle rides within the park.
