Te Puna Station Rd open

Te Puna Station Rd is now open.

Motorists travelling in both directions are now able to use the road, which has been closed for the past two weeks.

The road was closed on Tuesday, August 14, after a bank collapsed and trees and other debris spilled onto the road and blocked both lanes.

Since then, Inroads, on behalf of the Western Bay of Plenty District Council, have been managing the slip and clearing the debris.

An Inroads spokesperson said the road was opened late on Friday afternoon.
