Tauranga's Clare Swallow has been chosen as one of the 10 finalists in the Westpac Millennial Women of Influence Awards for 2014.

The digital team general manager at digital agency Cucumber heads a team of 22 strategists, designers, developers, project managers and digital marketers.

She is also a mentor to high school-age girls in the Young Enterprise Scheme. Five of the 10 nominees will get to take part in an exclusive session with three of New Zealand's most influential businesswomen - Kathryn Wilson, Diane Foreman and Sinead Boucher. Online voting is open now and the winners will be confirmed this Thursday.

"She has an incredible work ethic, is one of the most customer-centric people I have ever met and has a knack for finding solutions to the most complex of problems," said Cucumber chief executive Brett Roberts.

"I am lucky to have her on the leadership team and she plays a crucial part in helping steer the company in the right direction."
