The NZ Transport Agency warns of more road closures today as part of Tauranga Eastern Link construction.
Kairua Rd will be closed today and tomorrow.
The road between SH2 and Welcome Bay Rd will be closed between 9am and 4pm, with the off-ramp from SH2 closing from 7am. Drivers areencouraged to use alternative routes.
As part of the Tauranga Eastern Link project, the construction team will be doing the final placement of asphalt in the area. These works are weather dependent. The Transport Agency apologises for any inconvenience.
