The Ministry of Education has reviewed enrolment zones.
It intends to reduce the Tauranga Girls' College boundary along Welcome Bay Rd to include Waitoa Rd but exclude Rocky Cutting Rd.
Students along Welcome Bay Rd between Waitoa Rd and Rocky Cutting Rd would attend Tauranga Girls' College from the westof the halfway point between the two roads.
The ministry intends to extend the southern boundary of the zone to Ohaupara and Mangorewa streams.
Mangatoi Rd, Whataroa Rd and Te Matai Rd would come into Tauranga Girls' College zone.
