The Tauranga Eastern Link is due to have a number of diversions in place next week.

There are a number of changes and road works due happen on Bay roads over the next couple of weeks.

1. Intended programme for next week (weather dependent, therefore subject to change)

a) State Highway 2 / Domain Road intersection

Friday 29th May through to Thursday 4th June (between 9.00am and 4.00pm)

To allow a variety of construction activities to be undertaken, at times a series of lane closures will be in place, with traffic diverted into the adjacent lane along with a 50km/h temporary speed restriction.

b) State Highway 2 / Paengaroa roundabout - Whakatane leg

Friday 29th May through to Thursday 4th June (between 9.00am and 4.00pm)

To allow sign installation to be undertaken, both lanes will be moved to one side. A 50km/h temporary speed restriction will be in place.

c) Domain Road

From 9.00am on Friday 29th May

To allow road surface repairs to be undertaken, traffic will be diverted onto the northbound lanes.
