Tauranga City councillor Gail McIntosh has died.
Tauranga City Council confirmed this afternoon that Cr McIntosh died last night.
As a Member of Parliament and then Councillor, Cr McIntosh has dedicated her life to public service both on a national and local level.
The council said in a statement "Our
thoughts are with her family and friends".
Cr McIntosh's family have asked for privacy at this time.
