"The topics up for community consultation later this year reflect how we can achieve this, but we can't do our LTP planning alone. It's only by turning to our community that we decide what to prioritise and what is in the best interests of our city."
Brownless said the formal consultation would run from March 16 to April 16.
"This is when you will see what has been proposed in the Consultation Document and the detail that supports it," Brownless said.
"We'll be providing much more detail about each of these topics as the consultation period approaches, so please have a think about what's important to you and keep an eye out for more information."
The draft Long Term Plan outlines the council's proposed strategy and plan for the next decade and beyond. It outlines how these strategies and plans are proposed to be funded up to 10 years ahead, and in detail for the first three years.
