Four major Tauranga building projects were recognised with silver awards at the prestigious 2018 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards.

Run by the Registered Master Builders Association, the awards, which were handed out
in Auckland last night, set the benchmark for commercial construction in New Zealand.

Tauranga architects Chow: Hill won a silver award in the Construction Marketing Services Education Project category for its work on the Toi Ohomai - Te Ara o Mauao facility.

The Te Ara o Mauao facility and adjacent landscape were designed as part of a wider Creative Arts and Applied Technology Precinct.

The project moved the organisation from prefab classrooms towards a modern project-based learning environment.
