A Tauranga Lotto player has won half a million dollars.

The winner joins a Lotto player from Auckland who also won $500,000 in last night's Lotto draw.

The lucky tickets were bought in New World Brookfield, Tauranga, and Pak n' Save Lincoln Rd, Auckland.

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Saturday night.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
