State Highway 30 partially blocked after log spill

Crash near SH30, has partially closed lanes in both directions.

Delays are expected on State Highway 30 after logs fell from the back of a truck near Kinleith at 3.55pm.

Lanes are partially blocked in both directions.

The incident occurred between Ohakuri and Pukerimu roads, police said.

“No injuries have been reported, but at least one vehicle has been damaged after hitting a log.”

NZTA Waka Kotahi advised motorists to pass with care and expect delays.

“Follow directions of response crews at the scene.”
