Serious injuries after tractor rolls in the Bay of Plenty

A person is in a serious condition after a tractor rolled near Te Puke.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to the scene on Strang Rd near the Te Puke Highway about 3.25pm.

The spokeswoman said the scene was approximately 1km from the road.

A St John spokeswoman said one person has been taken to Tauranga Hospital with serious injuries.
