Two people have been seriously injured in a crash near Katikati.
A police spokeswoman said the two-car crash, at the intersection of Rea Rd and State Highway 2, happened about 10pm yesterday.
A St John spokeswoman said two ambulances were sent to the scene.
They took two patients in serious condition to Tauranga Hospital, she said.
