Tauranga and Mount Maunganui students have the chance to get behind the wheel and learn to drive without being on the road.
From September 3 to 7 Bayfair Shopping Centre is hosting the youdrive driving simulator to promote safe driving.
The simulator has a real steering wheel, pedals, indicators and
seatbelts to allow young people to learn key driving techniques.
The exhibition will also demonstrate the dangers of impaired driving, between 9am and 11am.
Students will be challenged to complete a sensory obstacle course, and then will be asked to complete the same course again while wearing Fatal Vision glasses.
