Bay of Plenty Rugby are hosting a fundraising evening on July 30 from 6pm at Cobb & Co Tauranga to help get the women's Volcanix team back on the national stage.

It follows on from the success of the International Women's Rugby Series hosted across the Bay region in June.

There are corporate tables available in seating arrangements of four to 10 people. Individual seat sales are available online which include adult, teen and children's prices.

A fundraising auction will be run as entertainment on the night with Blair Cashmore as auctioneer. The auction on the night includes consumer products, unique experiences, along with autographed and special items of sports memorabilia.

Book a table and enjoy the night while networking and using the opportunity to gain some national exposure and support the local community.

"It is great to have the Volcanix themselves working hard to assist with the table sales of their fundraiser," said Bay of Plenty Rugby Union CEO Mike Rogers.

There are back of jersey sponsorship packages also available to assist in the fundraising for the team, which includes tickets, recognition as an official sponsor of the Volcanix as well as promotional opportunities. With the announcement that the Volcanix vs Auckland match on September 13 at Rotorua International Stadium, as curtain raiser to the Steamers vs Auckland match, will be televised by Sky TV, interest in back of jersey sponsorship has lifted significantly with some jersey numbers already sold.

*To find out about sponsorship opportunities and/or table sales for the fundraiser contact Cherie Hammond at Bay of Plenty Rugby on 021 0839 2367 or cherie@boprugby.co.nz.
