Emergency services have been called to a crash on Tauranga Direct Rd, between Rotorua and Tauranga.
A police spokesman confirmed fire, police and ambulance services were called to the single-vehicle crash at 1.30pm, but only fire services had arrived at 1.56pm.
Initial indications were one person was in the vehicle with minor injuries.
The crash happened near Dudley Rd, he said.
A St John spokesman confirmed two people were treated on the scene with minor injuries and were not taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, a car has crashed into a tree at the intersection of Pukehangi Rd and Hodgkins St at 1.59pm.
The road was partially blocked and down to one lane, a police spokeswoman confirmed.
Just down the road, two vehicles crashed on Old Taupō Rd in the northbound lane, but there were no injuries, the spokeswoman said.
Southeast of Rotorua, another car has flipped on Galatea Rd in the Whakatāne District, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to the scene between Black and Grant Rds at 2.30pm.
A police spokeswoman said it was a single-vehicle crash and there looked to be three people involved.
At this stage it looked like they had moderate to serious injuries, she said.
