Damaged water main in Pyes Pa repaired

A damaged water main on Lake Boulevard in Pyes Pa has been repaired.

The Tauranga City Council issued its first statement about the damaged water main at 4.10pm.

“We are aware of the incident and our maintenance contractor is responding,” the statement said.

In a 9.15pm statement, it said the “third-party damage” had been repaired at 7.30pm and was back online.

“We don’t expect this would have had any impact to residents’ water supply.”
