School triathlon: There were some exceptional athletic performances across Years 3-6.

The Cheyne sisters, Amelia and Chloe, took out the Year 3 and 5 girls events with dominant displays.

The Spice kids, Rhydian and Jazmin, came second in the Year 4 boys and Year 6 girls events. Kerry O'Reilly held on to win the Year 6 boys race, Talitha McEwan led the Year 6 girls event from start to finish, and the Wyllie twins, Ashleigh and Cameron, won the Year 3/4 girls and boys aquathons.

Results: Year 3 Girls; 1st Amelia Cheyne, 2nd Isla Yardley, 3rd Samantha Chamberlain. Year 3 Boys; 1st Cooper Purdie, 2nd Hemi Antonsen, 3rd Joel Iggulden. Year 4 Girls; 1st Anja Edgington, 2nd Holly Flavell , 3rd Jade Toi. Year 4 Boys; 1st Fletcher Anderson, 2nd Rhydian Spice, 3rd Issac Crockford. Year 5 Girls; 1st Chloe Cheyne, 2nd Arianna Roberts, 3rd Alanah Eru. Year 5 Boys; 1st Cooper Bell, 2nd Zack Heke, 3rd Oliver Norwood. Year 6 Girls; 1st Talitha McEwan, 2nd Jazmin Spice, 3rd Shara Murray. Year 6 Boys; 1st Kerry O'Reilly , 2nd Azrael Cabusao, 3rd Jonty Collier. Year 3/4 Girls Aquathon; 1st Ashleigh Wyllie, 2nd= Ameka Emmet , 2= Anneke Koning. Year 3/4 Boys Aquathon; 1st Cameron Wyllie, 2nd Javian Grainger, 3rd Ryan Douglas. Year 5/6 Girls Aquathon; 1st Alizhay Brown, 2nd Manaia Nathan, 3rd Amy Zhou. Year 5/6 Boys Aquathon; 1st Spencer Wawatai, 2nd Willem Koning, 3rd Zack Perry.

Ripper Rugby:
Our seven teams continue to have good seasons in the BOPRU Papamoa Module on Tuesdays. Year 5/6 Blue have had two good wins, including 11-8 over Mount Primary this week. Three tries each to Micah Hill and Cooper Bell and the whole team defended well. Year 5/6 White also had a good win with a strong second half performance, bringing home 14-8 against St Thomas More.
