Pride of NZ: Hunt for best of best

We are looking for extraordinary Bay people making a significant difference in our community.

Together with our fellow NZME news organisations plus the TSB Bank we're seeking entries for the annual Pride of New Zealand Awards are now open as we celebrate the extraordinary personal sacrifices people have made to help, save and care for others and their environment.

Nominations are open now and can be made until June 14 at the website www.prideofnzawards.co.nz.

Regional and national awards will be made in the following categories: Bravery and Heroism, Community Spirit, Fundraiser of the Year, Emergency Services, Environment, Lifetime Achievement.
